Terms of Service

Last updated: June 10, 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Monori app and website, made by SoraWave Labs ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Monori, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Monori.

1. What Monori is (and is not)

Monori is a personal journaling tool. You talk or type about your day; AI turns it into a written diary entry in your voice, senses a mood, and helps you look back through recaps, charts, and patterns.

Monori is not a medical, psychological, or emergency service. Moods, scores, reflections, and recaps are reflections of your own words, for self-awareness only. They are never a diagnosis, treatment, or professional advice, and you should not rely on them as such. If you are experiencing a crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line (such as 988 in the US) immediately. Monori may surface supportive resources, but it does not monitor you and cannot respond to emergencies.

2. AI-generated content

Entries, reflections, questions, and similar content are generated by artificial intelligence from what you said. AI can make mistakes: an entry may phrase something imperfectly, miss nuance, or get a detail wrong. You can always edit any entry, or switch off AI rewriting entirely in Settings. You are responsible for reviewing content before relying on or sharing it.

3. Your account

4. Your content

Your diary belongs to you. You retain all rights to what you write, say, and upload. You grant us only the limited license necessary to operate Monori: storing your content, processing it with the AI providers described in the Privacy Policy to produce your entries and features, and displaying it back to you. We do not use your diary for advertising and we do not use it to train AI models. Premium members can export their entire journal at any time.

5. Monori Premium (subscriptions)

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse Monori. In particular, do not: break the law; upload content you have no right to; attempt to access other people's accounts or data; probe, overload, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service; or resell it. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the service or other users.

7. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Monori available and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued. We recommend Premium members export periodically if they keep important records.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoraWave Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of Monori. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose (or, if you paid nothing, to USD $10). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Indemnity

You agree to hold SoraWave Labs harmless from claims arising out of your violation of these Terms or misuse of the service.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SoraWave Labs is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where the law of your country of residence grants you mandatory protections and venue.

11. Changes to these Terms

If we make material changes, we will update the date above and notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Monori after that means you accept the updated Terms.
